Replacing Saving Stamps

New Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations mean that we are no longer able to support the issuing and redeeming of saving stamps and remain compliant, therefore we must end the savings stamp scheme.

The €2 saving stamps service will cease on the 31st March 2019 and no stamps will be sold after this date. We would ask all savers to bring the books (both fully and partially completed) into their nearest Mallow CU branch where they can be redeemed.

A Safer Way to Save:

It’s important to know that all members’ accounts are set up with sub accounts, ready to be used to save for separate items like bills, Christmas, holidays etc.

These savings are:

• much safer than traditional stamp books
• not attached to any loan as security
• separate to your main shares account
• fully withdrawable
• able to attract dividends

We wish to thank all who participated in the savings scheme over the years, our staff are on hand to help you organise your sub accounts so that you can continue to save with ease.

You can view each of your sub accounts online and make payments into them anytime by logging into your CU Online account. If you’re not already registered, sign up here.
